Elva Eleanor Montano, 63, passed away June 10, 2025. She was born September 24, 1961 in Colorado to parents, Leroy and Elena (Juarez) Montano. Preceded in death by her dads, Leroy Montano and Manuel Jesus Rivera; and sister, Angela Montano.
Elva loved to dance and listen to oldies music. She was very creative and loved to color, she was so proud of all her pictures. She loved to work in her yard and was the best cook ever, you never left her home without eating. Elva had a great personality; she made people laugh and would light up the room. Most of all she enjoyed sharing her love with family and friends.
Elva is survived by her mother, Elena Juarez; her husband, Joseph Montoya; her children, Lynette Martinez, Alberto Sandoval (Murissa) and Jerry Montoya (Shawn); her four-legged companion Blackie, who never left her side; her siblings, Annette Rivera, Debbie Fejaran, Manuel Rivera, Paul (Lisa) Rivera, Mike (Tina) Rivera, and Ben (Erica) Rivera; her grandchildren, Nevaeh, Mariah (Brenda), Arriana, Hector Jr., Alberto Jr, and Priscaes; and her great grandson, Alberto III.
