Enrique Herrera-Cortez

Enrique Herrera-Cortez, 31, passed away on May 8, 2026.  Born July 10, 1995 in Pueblo, Colorado to Eric Cortez and Rose Ann Herrera.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Enri que “Henry” Herrera and Rudy Cortez; aunt Henrietta Herrera, great uncles, Ed Herrera and Ralph Herrera; cousin, Damon Trotter;  friend Johnathan “Joker” Romero; fur-babies, Tiny and Hammie.

Left to cherish his memory are his mom; Rose Ann Herrera; father, Eric Cortez; siblings, Felipe Ray Herrera, Joseph (Jasmine) Rodriguez; grandmas, Delores Cortez and Betty Ann Herrera; aunt Frances (Aaron Tafoya) Herrera-Tafoya; uncles, Rudy  (Esther) Cortez, Lee (Bridgette) Rivera, Cisco Reveteriano; cousins, Alexus, Alisha, Angelic, Leo, Joshua, Anthony, Xavier, Surenaty, Xeraiah, Hope, Aviyana, Brielle, Szuria, Steve Esquibel.

Enrique enjoyed music, he loved to sing and dance. He loved fashion and had a unique style. He was always there to help someone. Always giving someone a hard time. That’s how you knew he liked you.  He was very close to his mama, his love for her was endless.

He will be forever loved and missed.
