Erik D. Armijo, 51, passed away July 26, 2025. He was born February 27, 1974 to parents, Esteban and Doris L. (Trujllo) Armijo. Both precede him in death along with his grandparents, Joe S. and Adella Armijo; father and mother-in-law, Odires and Mary Vigil; brothers-in-law, Kenneth Vigil, Ray Garcia and Ronald (Casper) Parks; sister-in-law, Francine Vigil; nephew, PJ Armijo and his dog, Nova.
Erik graduated from Central High School. He enjoyed watching the sports channels, especially football. He was a Denver Bronco fan, win or lose. He loved eating tamales, drinking coffee and iced Pepsi’s. Erik enjoyed watching Jeopardy, playing darts, riding ATVs, and driving his vehicles until the wheels fell off. Most of all he loved to spend time with his grandchildren and family.
Erik is survived by his wife, Paula Vigil; children, Erika Vigil, Darion (Madison) Vigil and Patricia Vigil; siblings, Diane Armijo, Jeanette (Terrance) Valdez, Dara (Victor) Armijo, Angelique (Thomas) Jaurigue, and Anthony Armijo; sisters-in-law, Lorie Garcia and Diane Vigil; brother-in-law, John (Terri) Vigil; granddaughters, Ali Mendoza, Audrina Payen, Janelle Payen and Amiah Maldonado; grandsons, David Payen and Erick Robinson; nina, Georgia Armijo; nino, Thomas Armijo; aunts, Catherine Trujillo, Corrine Trujillo, Theresa Armijo and Betty Bustamante; uncle, Michael (Rose) Trujillo; goddaughter, Athena Armijo; godson, Augustine Torres; several cousins, nieces, nephews and friends who love Erik and will miss him.
