Erlinda Bustos

Erlinda (Irene) Bustos passed away on June 15, 2026. Irene was born on March 7, 1936 in Salida, Colorado.

Irene is predeceased by her husband, Esidore Bustos, parents, Reuben Roybal and Manuelita Patron, brothers and sisters, Lloyd (Elaine) Roybal, Bernie (Ben) Martinez, John Red (Shirley) Roybal, and Manuel (Lillian) Roybal. Parents-in-law, Lino and Manuelita Bustos.

She is survived by her loving son Arron P. Bustos; grandchildren: Brandy Bustos, Anthony Bustos, Arron B. Bustos, Daniel Bustos, Emily Powell, Andi Bustos and Brenden Caliz;  her sister-in-law, Inez Archuleta, nieces and nephews: Tony (Deborah) Martinez, Millie (Sam) Lopez, Debbie (Ray) Arguello, Theresa (Rick) Jacobson, John (Yolanda) Roybal, Rick Roybal, Sandra Roybal, Lisa Roybal, Sandra (Henry) Duran, Corrina (Clarence) Vigil, Bill (Bobbie Jo) Archuletta, Luann (John) Trujillo, Carol Archuletta, Chris Archuleta, Darrel (Denise) Archuleta, Darrin (Brendi) Archuleta,  Dianne (Gilbert Garcia) Archuleta, Steve & Mickey O’Connell, Theresa (Richard) Hernandez; as well as numerous great nieces and nephews.

She was a loving daughter, wife, sister, mother, grandmother, aunt and most importantly, friend. She met the love of her life, Esidore, and married him on July 4, 1960 and shared 60 years of marriage. They cherished their son, Arron and devoted themselves to him and their grandchildren. Irene loved to chat and had a story about anything you wanted to know. There are so many memories about Aunt Irene, but most will remember times when she and uncle helped family and friends. Irene’s big heart will truly be missed by all who loved her, especially her son and grandchildren. Special thanks to Steve & Mickey O’Connell who helped care for mom with so much love and to everyone who has sent their love and prayers during this difficult time.
