Ernestine Garcia, 92, passed away Feb. 9, 2025. She was born, May 22, 1932 to Emeterio and Tillie Guerra, both precede her in death along with her beloved husband, Richard Garcia; brother, Emeterio Guerra; daughter, Gloria Pacheco; grandchildren, Richard Rodriguez and Monica Almagure.
Owner of Tidy Didy from 1971-1993 and Filter Queen Vacuum Shop. She was a foster grandparent for 26 years through the SRDA. She was a very strong Christian, and she loved to share His word. She was a member of Family Worship Center for 25 years. She was a fan of the CU Buffs, the LA Dodgers, and the Broncos; especially Dan Reeves. Ernestine loved to share her words of wisdom, life lessons, and love with each of her children, grandchildren, and friends. Ernestine was very spiritual; she always instilled her faith into her conversations. She would ask you to read the bible, the Book of Job, and she was so right all the time.
Ernestine is survived by her children, Manuel (Dorothy “Doris”) Almagure, Tillie “Mona” (Leonard) Lopez, Guadalupe Flores, Ernest Gloria) Barrios ; to include granddaughter Dionicia Cruz who was her caretaker and little partner, always making sure that her grandma was taken care of; 18 grandchildren. Manuel (Olivia) Almaguer, Melissa (Reginald) Trevino, Lawrence (Corina) Rodriguez II, Dionicia (Nathan) Cruz, Raquel Pacheco, Regina Barrios, Mario (Jasmine) Almagure, Sheena Pacheco, Vincent Gilliland, Amanda (Joel) Lopez, Samuel Flores, Kenny (Jocelyn) Pacheco, Ryan Gilliland, Shantel (Andrew) Herrera, Dawnelle (Derek) Catalano, Orlando Barrios; 20 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great grandchildren and sister, Patricia Montoya.
