Eva Marie Garcia Miramontes, 56, passed away April 11, 2023. A lifetime Puebloan she was born Sept. 29, 1966. She is preceded in death by her father, John N. Garcia; grandmother, Susie Purdue; special friend, Karla Lujan.
Eva loved her music, especially Spanish music and going dancing on the Paranda. She was an amazing cook and made the best enchiladas. Eva had such a good heart and would help anyone in need; she was always there to help. Eva made friends everywhere, she had the wittiest personality and would tell it like it is. She always had the last word, it was her way or the highway. Eva was strong willed, and always kept the faith no matter the outcome.
Eva leaves to cherish her memory; her mother, Mary Wolfe; her children, Vanessa (Ismael) Romero- Arteaga, Humverto (Adrienne) Garcia, Jamie (Sovida) Garcia, Marco (Alexandria) Garcia Sr.; grandchildren, Gracie, Andrew, Gregorio, James, Angelique, Abrianna, Isaiah, Natalia, Jamie Jr., Jeremiah, Marco Jr., and Amara; great-grandchildren, Luis and Lanyjah; siblings, Patricia (Leonard) Ortega, John (Crystal) Garcia, Sandra (Ronnie) Garbiso; nieces and nephews, Monica, Tony, Jon, Domeeka, Shanea, Cisco, Alejandra, Angelo, Zacherie, Marissa, Nathaniel; fur baby, Bella; many relatives and friends who will miss her dearly.
