Everett P. Pulido, 81, affectionately known as “Paul”, passed away July 21, 2024. A lifetime Puebloan he was born October 26, 1942 to parents. Arnold and Josephine (Arguello) Pulido who precede him in death along with; son, Kevin Andrew Pulido; siblings, Pete Pulido, Candelara Butkovich, Connie Jo Kochendarfer, Irene Pulido; aunts, Lupe Apodaca and Lucille Huerta.
Paul was a Central High Graduate. He then served in the U.S. Army, and was a proud Veteran. When he returned, he began his career as a Steelworker at the CF&I for over 50 years. He was a proud member of Local 2102, serving as their financial secretary for many years. He was a devout Catholic, attending daily mass and prayed the rosary every day. He made all of his sacraments to include: baptism, first communion, confirmation and marriage at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel. He sang in the choir, was an usher and lector. He was also a faithful member of the Adoration Society. He most recently attended St. Mary’s daily. Paul loved music, and he had a beautiful voice. Spanish music was his favorite, especially listening to the mariachi’s. He was a family man. Paul loved his wife, children, grandchildren, and family with his everything. He shared his stories, music, love, faith, and wisdom with each of them. He had a heart of gold, and was always willing to help others. He loved to make others smile, and was a friend to many.
Paul leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife, Maria “Rose” Pulido; sons, Christopher Paul Pulido, Gerald Matthew Pulido, and Steven Michael Pulido; grandchildren, Alexandria, Jason, Gerald Jr., Patrick, Gage, Brennen, Andres, Gabriella, Stevie, Josiah, and Kevin Jr.; great-grandchildren, Gage Jr., Kai, and Ayla; siblings, Gloria (Antonio) Sandoval, Mary Jane Mestas, Elizabeth Sanchez, Angela (Robert) Roosa, Julianna (Charlie) Chacon, Lala (Kenneth) Yeries; sister-in-law, Martha Aragon; special friends, Bobby Moncivaiz, Corrine Ellithorpe Ruybal, and Christian Garcia; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, family members and friends who will miss him dearly.
