Fernando Castaneda

Fernando Castaneda, 5, peacefully joined his fellow angel on July 3, 2021. He was born November 1, 2015, to proud parents Gustavo and Edna (Quintana) Castaneda. He is preceded n death by his uncle, Daniel A. Castaneda. Fernando was a preschool student at Bessemer Elementary where he loved being with his classmates and his teacher Ms. Kelly, when he was happy he showed it with a huge smile. Fernando enjoyed having his brothers jump, play and scream around the house. He especially enjoyed his brother Angel reading books to him and helping take care of him. Angel and Fernando had a special bond. Fernando also loved when his daddy would pick him up and touch him, taking his hand rubbing all around his face, it would bring a huge smile to his face. Fernando’s 5 years here on this earth was short, but for a purpose he taught and touched so many lives. He leaves to cherish his memory his parents, Gustavo and Edna; brothers, Angel and Daniel A. Castaneda; grandparents, Hamila Fernandez, Adrian Rodriguez, Daniel Castaneda and Rosalba Gonzalez; aunts and uncles, Myra Quintana, Diego Quintana, Gabriela Castaneda, Guadalupe Castaneda; godparents, Mira Venegas, and Jorge Rivera; several cousins and other relatives who loved and will miss Fernando. Funeral Mass 10 a.m Thursday July 8, 2021 at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Interment Roselawn Cemetery
