Filomena "Mena" Virginia Quintana

Filomena Virginia "Mena" Quintana born December 20, 1949 passed away June 11, 2026 at the age of 76.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Vivian Quintana, brothers Robert and Anthony Quintana, sister Rose Ayala, and grandson Brandon.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her husband of 48 years Rudy Duran; sons, Michael (Joann) Quintana and David Quintana; grandchildren,  Trent "Monkey", Victoria, Mikey, Marcus, Megan, Le Shon, Sean, Isaiah, and Ciara; 4 great grandchildren; sisters, Eleanor (Mike) Trujillo,  Joann Reynolds, Beverly (Danny) Abeyta, Nancy (Louie) Sosa, Pat (Antonio) Muniz;  brother, Donald (Celina) Quintana; sister in law Rita Quintana; brother in law Bill Ayala.

With broken hearts we suddenly had to say goodbye to Mena.

Writing this from a niece's point of view, Auntie Mena was always happy and so sweet. She never said no! She enjoyed every family gathering, from parties in Little Louie's garage, to picnics with her sisters, she just loved being with her family. Mena was a devoted mother and loved her boys above all else in life. Not a day passed without a call or visit from one or both. She had weekly card games with Eleanor, Lena, Amber, Michele and occasionally Tina. The same 6 every week, food, cards and laughs. She loved playing bingo and had formed an amazing bingo family with too many people to mention. We appreciate all you did for her.

Though she struggled with health problems at the end of her life, Mena lived a life full of love, family and friends until her last moments.

She will live on in all our hearts with the beautiful memories she leaves behind.
