Frances Santos

Frances Santos, 84, passed peacefully at home with her family on Tuesday, August 5, 2025. Fran was born September 23, 1940, in Pueblo, Colorado. Her loving husband, Joe Santos, precedes her in death. As well as her parents Alice Fierro and Joe Hernandez, brothers Robert Hernandez, Tim Hernandez and Tony Hernandez, mother-in-law Sara Nava Pena, father-in-law Mike Santos, sisters-in-law Mary Lou Santos, Lorraine LaChapelle, and Darlene Jaramillo, and brothers-in-law Mike

She was employed at Fashion Bar as a Customer Service Manager for 27 years. She found her greatest joy in watching her boys play ball, traveling with the Pueblo Bandits, spoiling her grandchildren, and heading to Cripple Creek or Las Vegas to gamble. She loved bumming around with friends, shopping and eating at restaurants all around Pueblo. Later in life, she loved going to "the show" to see new movies, and watching the Broncos, Nuggets and Dodgers play with family and friends.

Fran is survived by her three sons, Chris (Sue) Santos, Michael Santos, and Jerry (Paula) Santos; special friend/son Michael

(Rose) Hernandez; grandchildren Gary Lee (Erica) Lucero, Jolene Santos, Jacque Santos, Jennifer Santos, Nicholas Santos, Kylie Rae (Easton) Santos, Jordan (Sophia) Tyler, and Hayle Santos; also, eight great grandchildren; siblings Joe (Peggy) Hernandez, Phil Hernandez, Ruth (Art) Perez, and Belinda Lopez and Roberta (Ray) Herrera; siblings in-law Vicki (Leo) Sandoval, Danny Jaramillo, David (Lucy) Santos, Alex (Rose) Pena, Virginia Gonzalez, Carol Quintana, Lawrence Pena, Robert Pena, Rosalie (Joe) Aragon, Debbie Santos, Carl Santos, Danny Santos and Arthur Santos; numerous godchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Joe Santos Memorial Scholarship Fund at Premier Members Credit Union, to continue to provide college scholarships to local Pueblo youth.

Rosary, 7 pm, Thurs., Aug. 14, 2025 and Mass of Christian Burial, 1 pm, Fri., Aug. 15, 2025 both at St. Francis Xavier Church. Interment, Roselawn Cemetery
