Francisca L Ramirez

Francisca L. “Frances” Ramirez, 67, lifetime Puebloan, was born October 6, 1957, to Genaro and Mary (Hinojos) Ramirez and is also preceded in death by her parents.

Frances was a 76’ Graduate of Central High School.   She was an excellent cook and took pride in her food and made sure no one left hungry.  She worked for 15 plus years at the Grand Prix Restaurants. Frances was an avid Denver Bronco fan, cheering them on, win or lose.  She also loved her Minnie Mouse collection.  Frances loved kids, especially her nieces and nephews, who she loved to spoil rotten.  Frances lit up any occasion that she attended, always bringing a smile to everyone’s face. In her younger years, she loved to play darts and pool and let’s not forget her “Oldies” music!

Frances was a proud Navy mom of her son Trinidad. He made sure to take her everywhere he was stationed. The love and the bond that they had was more as a brother and sister.  She was his best friend, and he was hers.  Sundays were her favorite day going out to eat menudo and drink her Coke Cola.  Frances loved random trips and rides, sightseeing and going to Cripple Creek.  She loved her movie nights with him and enjoyed the game shows especially family feud with Steve Harvey, she would laugh and laugh.

Frances is survived by her son, Trinidad Ramirez; siblings: Phyllis Pino, Martin Ramirez, Mary Ellen “Nena” Baca, Genero H. Ramirez, Cecilia “Tila” (Rito) Perez Ramirez; godchildren: Christina, Raquel, Mikaela, Xochitl: Uncles, George (Lydia) Hinojos, Santiago “Jimmy” (Jane) Hinojos. Several nieces, nephews and cousins. Special friends – Diane Montoya and four-legged companions Max and Minnie.

Funeral Service 3pm, Friday, October 25, 2024, at Angelus Chapel.
