Francisco "Frank" De la cruz Encina

Francisco “Frank” De la cruz Encina, 68, passed away April 7, 2023. He was born Nov. 22, 1954 in Brownsville, Texas. He is preceded in death by his biological father, Francisco De la cruz Sr., mother, Christina  De la cruz Encina; siblings, Jessie Encina, and Johnny Encina; great-granddaughter, Isabella Lucianna Medina.

Frank enjoyed dancing and listening to music. He loved working on his yard, his lawn was immaculate. You were a stranger only once to him; he loved people and talking with them. Frank had a great sense of humor. He always had a joke to brighten the day. His biggest joy was his family who he loved and adored spending quality time with each of them. Sharing his stories and life lessons with them brought him great joy.

Frank leaves to cherish his memory; his father, Arturo Encina; mother of his children, Louise Encina; his children, Jessica (Juan Rivera) Encina, Nicholas Anthony Encina Sr.; siblings, Pancho (Ida) De la cruz, Manuel Encina, Michael (Bertha) Encina, Linda Encina, Kathy Martinez, Martina (Luis) Gonzalez, Martha Quintana, Maria Juanes, Marina (Gilbert) Flores; sister-in-law, Veronica Encina; grandchildren, Francesca (Martin) Medina Encina, Valencia Vargas, Marcelino Vargas, Nicholas Anthony Encina Jr., Viviana Encina; great- grandchildren, Benjamin Joe Medina II, Yasmine Louisa Medina, Raven Jade Vargas; God-children, Jeremy Chavez, Julian Juanes, Natalene Espinoza.

Celebration of Life, 1 pm., Sat. April 22, 2023 at the Eagles #145 (Prairie Ave.).
