Frank Christopher Hernandez, 47, passed away on February 24, 2026. He was born on November 28, 1978, in Pueblo to Jerry and Gloria Hernandez.
Frank was preceded in death by his father, Jerry Hernandez Sr.; his grandparents, Frank and Frances Martinez, Jess Hernandez, and Inez Duran; his uncle Larry Hernandez Sr.; his aunt Lorraine (Ron) Romero; his godparents, Rudy and Carmen Calderon; and his uncle Danny Hernandez.
He is survived by his loving mother, Gloria Hernandez; his beloved children, Emelicia Raelynn Hernandez and Jayden Frank Hernandez; the mother of his children, Sabrina Baca; big brother, Jerry Diego Hernandez; sister, Jamie Lynn Hernandez (JC Cortez); nephews, Joshua Ray Montez, JaeCee Jerry Cortez, and Josiah Cortez; niece, Mariah Montelongo; goddaughter, Aniya Hernandez; aunts, Susie Hernandez, Mona Hernandez, and Gloria Carlini Hernandez; great-niece, Alahni; great-nephew, Mateo; many cousins, including Gino, Valerie, Stella, RJ, Francine, Carla, Larry, Audie, David, and Danny; along with numerous other beloved family members and friends to include Stacy Collins and Dylan Acosta.
Frank shared an especially meaningful bond with his cousins Larry Hernandez Jr. and David Calderon. Growing up side by side, they became far more than cousins. They became brothers in every way that mattered.
Frank worked as a car salesman and was known for his friendly personality and calm, steady demeanor. He found his greatest joy in spending time with his loved ones. A devoted fan of the Denver Broncos, Frank also had a deep love for baseball and basketball. He took immense pride in cheering on his son Jayden and his nephew Joshua at their games.
He enjoyed life’s simple pleasures such as playing video games, shooting pool, throwing darts, listening to music, and making memorable trips to Cripple Creek. Whether sharing a laugh, offering support, or simply being present, Frank’s gentle spirit brought comfort to those around him.
Frank will be deeply missed by everyone blessed enough to know and love him. His warmth, his kindness, and the memories he leaves behind will forever live in the hearts of his family and friends.
This is not good-bye, it is simply “I’ll see you later.”
