Frank Vidana Obituary

Frank A. Vidana Jr. , age 64, passed away December 31, 2020 while at home visiting with his family. He was born October 1, 1956. Frank is preceded in death by his father and mother, Frank Sr and Gloria (Duvall) and his mother-in-law Helen (Maestas). Frank is survived by wife Vivian, his high school sweetheart, his children Frank III (Laura), Kristen, Tiffany (Manuel), Jeremy, Andrew, Kathleen (Ta’mon), his grandchildren Frank IV, Evelin, Juan, Joel, Marcus, Jayden, Araylea, Analise, Manuel Jr, Dominik, Danielle, Jeremiah, Jeremy Jr, Ta’lia and Malaysiahis and his great granddaughter Vivian. Frank was an avid golfer in Pueblo and won multiple tournaments during the height of his golfing career. His father (Frank Sr) taught Frank to golf at a young age where he excelled at his game winning many tournaments over the years making his father proud. Frank was well known to fellow golfers in Colorado and will always be known as Frank “The Assassin” Vidana. Frank was the State Lefties Golfing Champion three years in a row during the years of 1991 to 1993. He competed in the Nation Lefties Tournament in 1993 and placed 7th in the nation. Frank loved to play golf and would eventually introduce his family to the sport he loved.Frank met his wife Vivian (Lucero) while in middle school at Risley in Pueblo. Attending East High School, their love would blossom. Frank and Vivian were inseparable, never leaving each other’s side. Frank plays multiple sports while Vivian was the runner up prom queen her senior year. Frank and Vivian supported one another through high school and would eventually get married at the age of 21. Frank and Vivian welcomed the birth of their first son (Frank III) in the year 1979. In 1981, Frank and Vivian welcomed their second child and first daughter (Kristen). In 1985, they welcomed their second daughter (Tiffany) to their expanding family. In 1987, their second son (Jeremy) was born. In 1993, welcomed their third son (Andrew). In 1995, Frank and Vivian welcomed their third daughter (Kathleen) and finalize the children they would have together. Frank showed great pride in his children allowing them to play golf with him and embark on adventures through the Colorado wilderness. Frank always provided for his family, working for the CF&I/Evraz as a crane operator. He retired in 2016. Frank loved his wife and children and was happiest when his family was all together. Frank loved all his family especially his siblings Francis (Lobato), Peggy (Aranda), Jackie (Mares), David and Michelle (Candy). He also cared for his friends Lou Magana, Doug Conry, Eusebio and Nancy Maes amongst many others.
