Gary Anthony DeCesaro

Gary Anthony DeCesaro, 74, passed away February 22, 2025. A lifetime Puebloan, he was born August 2, 1950 to parents, Alfred “Fritz” and Sarah (Occhiato) DeCesaro, both precede him in death.

Gary graduated in 1968 from Roncalli High School. He proudly served in the U.S. Army as a Specialist Four. He received The Air Medal, The Bronze Medal and The Army Commendation Medal while serving. Upon returning to Pueblo he worked for the CF& I, and retired with many years of service.

Gary is survived by his wife, Betty Cruz; sons, David, Isaac, Gary Jr., and Travis DeCesaro; sisters, Jan Guidry and Kathy Vujcich; brothers, Rick, Tom and Anthony DeCesaro; and 5 grandchildren, Adrina DeCesaro, David DeCesaro, Layla Madrid, Petra Hathaway and Izabel DeCesaro.
