Gary D. Perdue,85, of Pueblo Colorado. Passed from this life into God’s eternal Glory on January 26th, 2025, at his home with his loving family around him. “Pops” as he was affectionately known by his kids, is eternally reunited with his wife of 30 years, Alicia R (Montoya) Perdue, his father Jiles Perdue, mother Maudine (Freeman) Perdue, brother John Perdue, sister-in-law Janice (Greenstreet) Perdue and great granddaughter Jordyn Aragon.
He was born on the family farm on Aug.19th,1939 in Croft, Kansas, where he was raised by his parents. He graduated high school and later joined the Air National Guard where he carried out reconnaissance missions on our country’s land as well as other duties. He was later hired by the railroad and retired as an engineer after over 36 years of faithful service. Pops will be greatly missed as he was a good, kind, loving and patient man who very lovingly spoiled his wife, kids, grandkids and great grandkids. We take great comfort in the beautiful bouquet of memories he leaves behind for his family, extended family and friends.
Pops is survived by his kids, Randy (Karen) Montoya, Tracy Montoya (Scott Maldonado), and Brian Montoya. His grandkids Tosha (Diego) Minnich, TyLynn (Sergio) Aragon and Joey Martinez. Great grandkids Jaidyn, Raiden, Nayeli and Matheuz. Also, special nieces Lori (Kenneth) Kreutzer, Jennifer (Jack) Hacker. Great niece Jessica (Rachel) Navarro, great nephews Devin (Emily) Hacker, Daniel (Jessica) Hacker, Cole (Megan) Kreutzer, Chase (Ashlee) Kreutzer. Great great grand nieces and nephews Abby, Bella, Karson, Rhett, Emma and Blaze.
Goodnight, God bless you and we love you Pops.
