Georgina "GiGi" Gloria Pacheco

Georgina Gloria Pacheco (Gigi) was reunited with her Heavenly Father on April 29, 2022. She was born on September 06, 1958, to George and Lupe Pacheco in Pueblo, CO and is preceded in death by her father and brother Vincent. She is survived by her mother Lupe and siblings Anthony Pacheco, Vivian Martinez, Verena Pacheco (Manny Ortega) and sister-in-law Teresa; her children Angel Pacheco, Alea (James) Benedetto, and Jacinto Pacheco, as well as grandchildren Adrianna and Alycia Ybarra and Luciana and James Benedetto III. She also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends (special friends Eileen Thomas, Glenda Montoya-Martinez and Jasper Quintana) as well as a loyal canine companion named Benny, who loved her beyond measure.  

Gigi graduated from East High School in 1976 and her firstborn daughter Angel was born the following February. Her daughter Alea came 5 years later in 1982 followed by her son Jacinto, in 1984. As her kids got older, she found work as a sewing and production technician, eventually managing a group of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Her competence and compassion eventually led her to pursue a career as a psychiatric technician and caregiver. Sadly, her career was cut short after being injured while trying to break up an altercation between two large men at her group home. She was a little woman with a big heart; she also was a peacemaker.  

Georgina moved to the Centennial area about 7 years ago to be closer to her children and lived with her daughter Alea’s family on and off over the years. Gigi was a special and sweet soul who will truly be missed. She lived for her children/grandchildren and expressed her love through cooking and her beautiful writing. She fought the good fight, kept the faith, finished the race, and received her crown of righteousness.  

Walk by Faith, Not by Sight 

Hold your head up high and do not be afraid of the storm or the darkness of the night. 

You wear the armor of GOD and there is power in HIS name. 

HE that is within you is stronger than he of this world. 

The pure of heart shall see GOD. 

He is the tree, and we are the branches- 

An extension of HIM; serve it well! 

Spare yourself and those you love from the eternal agony of hell. 

Never believe yourself to be too good to extend a hand to another in need 

Or feel too big for correction, nor get lost in self-righteousness.  

If you find you have lost direction, know that the beauty and marvel of Heaven 

Is beyond comprehension…
