Gerard Lee Trujillo Jr. affectionately known as “Little G” or simply “G”, passed away at the young age of 32 on April 6, 2026. Born June 3, 1993 to Gerard Lee Trujillo Sr. and Jennifer Lucero in Pueblo.
Gerard is preceded in death by his father-in-law Vincent Smith, grandfathers, Michael Montoya and David Trujillo; grandmother Geraldine Trujillo.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Raquel Smith Trujillo, sons Gerard Trujillo, James Gantt, Xavier Smith, Amarion Sandoval; daughters, Isabella Trujillo, India Gantt, Nyla Trujillo, Lyrica Drassen, and Keilani Smith; father Gerard Trujillo Sr; mother Jenny Sandoval; in-laws, Micheal and Telisha Draper; siblings, Lacy (Michael Vigil) Trujillo, Gerald Trujillo, Van Trujillo and Charlee Trujillo, sibling in-laws, Latasha Cervantes, Talor Rae Estrada, Vincent Smith, Shamarr Carter; nieces and nephews, Xander Trujillo, Ashton Vigil, Avery Vigil, Kinieya Cervantes, Mya Ervin, Ayriana Ervin and Eevee Estrada; along with numerous other family and friends.
A devoted husband, father, son and brother, Gerard leaves behind a legacy of strength, hard work, and deep love for his family. He was a man who found joy in the tangible things in life. Whether he was under the hood of a car or at the gym lifting weights, he took pride in his strength and his ability to fix anything that was broken. He had a natural talent for mechanics and a drive to always keep moving forward. He had a love for wrestling, pokemon and fishing in his free time.
Above all else, Gerard’s world revolved around his family. He was a dedicated family man who cherished every moment spent with his family. He was a constant presence in their lives, providing a foundation of love and support that will never be forgotten.
Gerard’s presence was a gift to those who knew him. His spirit, characterized by his nickname “Little G” was anything but small. He lived with a big heart, an infectious laugh that could capture the whole room and a resilient spirit that seemed to keep him going regardless of the trials he faced.
He will be profoundly missed by his family, extended family, friends and the community he touched.
