Gilbert A. Trujillo Sr., 79, passed away Nov. 7, 2023. He was born Aug. 29, 1944 in Springer, New Mexico to parents Seferino and Virginia (Martinez) Trujillo. Both precede him in death along with other family members. Gilbert was a plumber by trade. He never complained, would go out of his way to help anyone. He had a heart of gold. Gilbert was an avid Broncos fan, win or lose, he was cheering them on. He enjoyed listening to music, but his biggest joy was his spending quality time with his grandbabies and family. Gilbert was a great Husband, Dad, Brother, Grandpa and friend who was loved and will be deeply missed. Gilbert is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Lucy Quintana Trujillo; his children, Alvin Trujillo, Ernest Trujillo, Gilbert Trujillo Jr., Shirley (Ivan) Walters and Debra Trujillo; siblings, Fred Trujillo, Alfonso (Lori) Trujillo and Juanita (Roger) Esquibel, Patsy (Ray) Coca; in-laws, George Quintana and Carlos Quintana; 14 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
