Gloria Consuelo Rivera, 85, passed away on Jan. 7, 2021. She was born on Jan. 22, 1935 in Espinoza, Colo., to Man-uel and Fortunata Espin-oza. Both preceded her in death along with husband, Paul N. Rivera; granddaughter, Taylor Rivera; siblings, Alfredo Espinoza, Sofie Gallegos, Mela Casias, Isabela Romero, Tila Casias, Ernesto Espinoza, Alfonzo Espinoza and Albino Trujillo; brothers-in-law, Tomas Rivera Jr. and Joe Rivera; sisters-in-law, Rachel Villagrana and Magdalena Candelaria. Gloria was married to the love of her life, Paul Rivera, for 66 years. During those years, she enjoyed attending all family functions, cooking for her family, spending quality time with family and counseling her children and grandchildren when needed. In her free time, she loved dancing, sharing stories, garage sales and going to Cripple Creek. Her life was a living example of Ephesians 4:32, "And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you." Gloria is survived by her children, Willie (Debra) Rivera, Elaine (Charles) Jacobs, Pauline Rivera, Loretta Rivera, Lucille (Mike Martinez) Osteen, Sylvia Coghill and Thomas (Sherry Vigil) Rivera; sister, Cleotilde Pacheco; sister-in-law, Sarah Watson; 15 grand-children, 28 great-grand-children and seven great-great-grand-children; and special nephews, Bill Pacheco and Oscar Medina.
