Icey M. Jackson, 70, passed away peacefully on October 4, 2025. A devoted mother, grandmother, sister, friend, and retired social worker, Icey lived a life of faith, service, and compassion.
Born on May 13, 1955, in Little Rock, Arkansas, to Johnny A. Green and Bertha M. Jackson, she was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Reola Jackson, her niece Genesis Pool, and her nephew Gene Pool.
Deeply committed to her community, Icey was an active member of the NAACP and PAACO, always striving to uplift and advocate for others. Her faith guided every aspect of her life. As a pastor, she was a devoted member of Word of Faith Christian Center under the leadership of Pastor John and Dana Richardson, and proudly served with the S.W.A.T. Team at Pueblo Center of Worship and Empowerment.
Icey’s life was centered around her faith and family. Her wisdom, kindness, and unwavering spirit touched everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered.
She is survived by her loving sons, William R. Lark (Ronny) and Alvin R. Lark; grandchildren, Bryana Lark (Jesse) and Adrian Xavier; great-grandchildren, Jeremiah R. Lark-Cortez and Anastasia R. Lark-Cortez; brother, Charles Pool (Debbie); sister, Patricia A. Jackson; nieces, Marilyn Pool and Aaliyah Pool; and many dear friends including Olivia, Karen, Dana, and Trudi.
In keeping with her wishes, cremation has taken place.
