Isidore Martinez

Isidore Martinez, 75, passed away June 3, 2025. He was born April 28, 1950 in Westcliffe, CO to Genaro and Augustina (Sanchez) Martinez both precede him in death along with siblings, Orlando Martinez, Genaro Martinez, Dorothy Ontiveros; brother-in-law, Porfie Valdez.

Isidore retired from CDOT. He was a car guy who loved his Hot Rods and doing the National Car Show ever year. Isidore liked camping, fishing and traveling. He had a fun sense of humor always trying to make someone laugh. He was a huge Denver Broncos fan, win or lose. Most of all Isidore was a family man. He always made sure everyone was taken care of from his kids, grandkids, great grandkids, nieces, nephews, and his friends. His home was always open to anyone who needed a place to stay. Isidore loved supporting his grandkids at all their events, programs, and fund raisers.

Isidore leaves to cherish his memory; his loving wife, Darlene Martinez; children, Jessica (Willie) Rodriguez, Mae (Toby Rael) Martinez, Gregg (Misty) Martinez; 5 grandchildren, Tre, DeNae, Valentino, MaKayla, Zoe; 7 great-grandchildren; sister, Pauline Valdez; sisters-in-law, Patricia Martinez and Vickey Martinez; brother-in-law, Zeke Ontiveros; numerous in-laws, nieces, nephews, and friends who will miss him dearly.

Mass of Christian Burial, 2 p.m. Thursday June 12, 2025 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Gardener, CO.
