J. Gloria Munoz, 93, died peacefully in her home on April 30, 2021. She was born in Pueblo on January 6, 1928. She is survived by her sisters Pauline Juarez, Angelina (Frank) Verna and Sally Apodaca, her sisters-in-law Chris and Nancy Munoz and numerous nieces and nephews. Gloria was one of thirteen children born to Francisco A. and Luisa P. Munoz who preceded her in death as well as siblings Alice (Haze) De La Torre, Salvador (Lucy), Alfred (Juvie), John (Lil), Frank, Raymond (Yvonne and Jeanne), Richard (Dora), Tom and Tony (June) and beloved brothers-in-law Richard Juarez and Mike Apodaca. Gloria worked as a Registered Nurse for 40 years here in Pueblo. She was an avid reader, an excellent knitter and loved to play cards with the family on Friday afternoons. In her later years she developed interest in coloring and her weekly crossword puzzles.
Services will be held on Friday May 7, 2021 at 2 p.m. at St. Mary’s Help of Christians Catholic Church. Internment will follow at Roselawn Cemetery.
