Jerome J. Montoya

Jerome J. Montoya, 69, affectionately known as “Jerry” to family and friends, passed away Jan. 24, 2023. A lifetime Puebloan he was born May 29, 1953 to Joe and Lelia who both precede him in death, along with his nephew, Ray "Razor" Montoya and sister-in-law Sylvia Montoya. Jerry was a Veteran of the United States Airforce. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, loved his family and friends especially his grandkids. Jerry is survived by his children, Lelia Montoya (Matt Baca) and Patricia Montoya; grandchildren, Matthew, Ava, Raymond, Harley and Karson; great-grandson, Holden; ex-wife, Sylvia (Mark) Geonetta; common law wife, Pat Coca; siblings, Ray (Arlene) Montoya and Anthony Montoya; several nephews, nieces and a host of friends who loved and will miss him. Visitation Angelus Chapel 12 - 3:00 p.m. Friday February 3, 2023 with family present and Military Honors. A Celebration of Life and Last Ride, Sat., Mar. 4, 2023. Meet at Dutch Clark Stadium at 12 pm, plan to leave by 12:30 pm.  Will arrive at Creative Arts Bldg on Fairgrounds at 1:30 pm weather permitting otherwise at 2 pm.
