Jerry Edward Hernandez, 72, passed away on November 13, 2025. He was born in Pueblo, Colorado on June 3, 1953 to parents, Jess Hernandez and Inez Duran. Both precede him in death along with father and mother in-law, Frank and Frances Martinez; twin brother, Larry Hernandez; brother, Danny Hernandez; sisters-in-law, Lorraine (Ron) Romero, and Carmen (Rudy) Calderon.
Jerry retired from the U.S. Navy and Pueblo Army Depot. He enjoyed spending time with his loved ones especially watching his grandson Jousha playing baseball. He was a huge Denver Bronco fan. He also loved listening to oldies and going to Cripple Creek. We shall continue to live with you forever in our hearts until we meet again. May you rest in eternal peace. Amen.
Jerry is survived by his loving wife, Gloria (Martinez) Hernandez of 55 years; 2 sons, Jerry Jr. and Frank; one and only daughter, Jamie Lynn (JC Cortez); sisters, Mona and Gloria; sister-in-law, Susie Hernandez; goddaughter, Francine Hernandez; daughter-in-law, Sabrina Lynn; 6 grandchildren, Mariah, Emelicia, Jayden, Joshua, Jae cee Jerry (Boo Boo), and Joziah Leigh; 2 great grandchildren, Alahni and Mateo; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends who loved him and will miss him very much.
Funeral Service, 10 am, Fri., Dec. 19, 2025 at The Angelus Chapel.
