Jerry Roy Gonzales, 38, passed away December 25, 2025. A lifetime Puebloan, he was born November 26, 1987. Preceded in death by his father, Frank Roy Gonzales along with his grandmother, Elsie Alarid.
Jerry loved the outdoors, fishing, hiking, swimming and camping, which he enjoyed the most. He was a diehard Raiders fan and had love for everyone that he came across. Jerry always had a helping hand even if it was out of his way, he never turned anyone away. When they needed him, you could always count on Jerry to be there. We will never forget his smile, jokes, pranks, his warm welcoming heart, his love for dancing, and his love for his grandma. He always brought joy to everyone he was around or had a way to make you smile. Jerry also loved music and cooking. His favorite food to cook was his wings and stews. “Jerry, just know you will always be loved and never forgotten.”
Jerry is survived by his mother, Carol Ortiz; his step-dad who he loved, Roger Leyba; uncle, Luke Vigil; husband, Brandon Gonzales; sister, Angel Gonzales, brothers, Roy and Zack Gonzales; his favorite cousins, Charmaine Alarid, Jesus & Yaretzi Gamboa; his great aunty, Rebecka Gains; aunties, Paula Alarid and Kathy Alarid; uncle, Joe Alarid; 4 nieces; numerous cousins to count and special foster parents, Stan and Cora Krol.
