Jess G. Gonzales

Jess G. Gonzales, 69, passed away December 16, 2025 in Pueblo, Colorado after a prolonged illness. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Rose Gonzales; his siblings, Patricia Trujillo, James Gonzales and Elizabeth Valez.

Jess was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico on January 22, 1956. He worked as a truck driver and with several trades in construction. Jess enjoyed being with family and friends. He liked to play pool and travel. He was always helping those in need with friendship, food, clothes and a place to sleep. He loved riding his motorcycle and going to bike rally’s. Jess was a chivalrous, honorable and courteous man. He lived his life to the fullest and like there was no tomorrow.  He would always say “A Day above ground was a good day”.

He is survived by his siblings, Georgia (Joe) Guzman, John (Valerie) Gonzales, Marie (Reuben) Espinoza, and Joseph Gonzales. Jess is also survived by 5 children, the oldest being Johnna Gonzales Trujillo; many cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends.

Rosary, 9:30 am and Funeral Mass, 10 am, Tues., Dec. 30, 2025 both at St. Francis Xavier Church, 611 Logan Ave., Pueblo, CO. 81004. Interment, Roselawn Cemetery.
