Obituary
Jesus M. Mendoza, affectionately known as "Chewy" passed away April 22, 2023. He was born October 16, 1986 to parents Jose Mendoza and Frances Espinoza.Jesus is preceded in death by his father, Jose Mendoza along with grandmother Mary Baros; uncles Danny (Debra) Espinoza and Able Baros. He was an excellent cook, a great competitive basketball player and loved being outdoors. Jesus enjoyed the art of giving tattoos and haircuts. He was a die hard Denver Broncos and Nuggets fan, but most important was his family who he loved. Chewy had a huge heart, always wanting to help anyone in need. He was our big "Teddy Bear" but don't get it twisted....
Jesus is survived by his wife, Theresa Mendoza; children, Julian, Lorena, Leo, Jesus Jr., Jadyn, Angel, Damiion, Carlos and Adanijah; mother, Frances (Marcus) Espinoza; brothers, Canelo (Lisa) Alvarez, Gererdo (Tina) Mendoza; sister, Lisa (Khalid) Alvarez; special cousin, Danny Espinoza; best friend, Andrew Mendoza; in-laws, Carlos and Diane Miera; granddaughter, Analia and 1 on the way; godchildren, Jayden, Marcus, Gerardo Jr. and Jose; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, homies and friends who will miss him. Celebration of Life, 1 pm, Thurs., May 4, 2023 at Angelus Chapel.
