Jesus R. Lopez

Jesus R. Lopez, 96, passed away peacefully March 17, 2021. He was born January 14, 1925 to proud parents Refugio and Juanita (Romero) Lopez both precede him in death along with his loving wife, Stella (Martinez) Lopez; his sons, Enrique “Toby” Lopez and Jesus R. Lopez Jr. He retired from CF&I with 40 years of service as a Steelworker. In his younger years he was a boxer, he enjoyed fishing and hiking and was very healthy for his age. Jesus loved to bake for his children, his specialty was cupcakes and Mexican bread. Jesus was dedicated to his family who he loved dearly. He is survived by his children, Theresa Morris and Tisha Diante; his grandson Erik Lopez; brothers, David (Paula) Romero and Ignacio (Esther) Lopez.
