Jewel L Williams

Jewel L. Williams, 77, passed away on April 24, 2023.  She was born March 13, 1946 to parents George and Pearlie Mae (Jones) Morgan,who both precede her in death along with her husband  "CP" Williams; son Cornell Jones; grandson Patrick S. Thompson Jr.,brother-in-laws Alfred Jones, DD Jones and Porter Jones. Jewel was a former member of Bethlehem Baptist Church, she was very faithful and always put God and family first. It takes a village and she was part of that village, always there for others.  Her life’s work was caretaking. She owned and operated Jewel's Royal Daycare for over 32 years.  Jewel also was an emergency placement provider for Dept. of Social Services.  Jewel had an amazing heart of gold, always loving on those who she came in contact with. You were only a stranger once to her.  Her home was always open to anyone in need, whether it was a place to rest, eat or change clothes. She was so selfless, and always put herself last.  Jewel is survived by her children Janet (Patrick) Thompson, Debra Jones, Marvin Jones, Malcolm Jones and Clarence Williams Jr.; grandchildren, Richard, Tony, Samantha, Latoya, Terry Jr., Lateasha, Kori, Nya, Stacey, Alexandria, Devon and Alexa Rae; aunts Lillian Brown and Mary Ellen Ross; 14 great grandchildren;   several nieces, nephews, friends and  neighbors children who loved and will miss her dearly.   Homegoing Celebration 11 am Friday May 5, 2023 at Angelus Chapel.
