Joseph L. Fimbres, 69, passed away June 8, 2026. Born January 12, 1957 to Mercedes Fimbres in California.
Left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Destiny Fimbres; son, Elano Fimbres; sisters, Tina Lucero, Maria Strunk, Carmen Romero; brothers, George Fimbres, Michael Romero and Ralph Romero; 8 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; along with numerous other family and friends.
My father was one of the most loving, caring, funny men. Most of all, he was one of the wisest men I new knew. He loved his family dearly, especially his grandkids. He loved “his” beach ”port Hueneme” where he grew up. He would tell us he knew the town better than anyone else. He was an amazing cook, especially his BBQ while listening to oldies and Elvis Presley. He loved music, especially Yolanda DelRio. He loved going to the beach having, having some fish & chips and a beer.
He was very protective of his family. He would give you his last. He was an amazing father, grandpa, brother, uncle and friend. He will be missed deeply. There is no one like “Joe Lous Style”. He loved his brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews very much.
He will be forever loved and missed.
