John Wesley Townsley

John Wesley Townsley, 48, passed away on August 20, 2018. He was born on February 4, 1970 to the union of Jon R and Donna J. (Kirk) Townsley who both precede him in death. Wes loved adventures and traveled all over, living for a time in Mexico. He saw the inner spark in people and fought for justice and respect for all. He was a devoted family man. He spent his free time doing what he loved, coaching youth baseball and football. Wes was probably the most loyal Chicago Cubs fan, attending as many games as he could. He leaves behind to cherish his memory; high school sweetheart and wife of 25 years, Stacy (Shufflebarger) Townsley; children, Liah Donna and John "Toby" Tobin; siblings, Kirk Townsley, Karry Townsley and Jonna Townsley; parent in laws, Ron and Le Shufflebarger; in-laws, Janice Townsley, Crista (Shufflebarger) Johnson and Steve Johnson; nephews, Forrest, Alex, Seth, Joel, Carter; nieces, Tashia, Stefanie, Ashley, Greeley and a host of other relatives and friends. Graveside Service, 2 p.m Thursday Roselawn Cemetery
