Jose Hugo Romero Lopez

Jose Hugo Romero Lopez, 66, passed away unexpectedly on Oct. 30, 2020 in Pueblo, CO. He was born March 24, 1954 in San Dieguito de Arriba, Nayarit Mexico to parents Vicente and Urbana Romero Lopez who both precede him in death. Along with his daughter, Angel Romero and brother, Raul Romero Lopez. Jose came to the United States as a young man to live in Los Angeles California where he lived with his family for 10 years before coming to Colorado. He resided in Pueblo for 42 years where he made his life. Naya loved to dance, especially his cumbias, everyone loved being around him, he was the life of the party. Naya enjoyed working in the farms, going to the horse races and dog track He loved being around all his kids and grandchildren. Naya will be greatly missed. He is survived by his wife, Teresa; children, Erica (Cisco) Jaramillo, Joseph Romero Jr., Daniel (Nikki) Romero, Jolene (Jaime) Rubio; siblings, Hector, Javier, Beto, Antonio, Daniel, Silvia, Esperanza, Ofelia Romero Lopez; grandchildren, Santiago, Santana, Davian, Francisco Jr., Roman, Jaime Jr., Aliana and Dominic; special nephew Efrain (Norma) Romero; numerous nephews, nieces, cousins and in laws who will greatly miss him. Memorial Mass 11 a.m Wednesday November 11, 2020 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel.
