Obituary

Josefa Avalos, 90, affectionately known as “Aunt Jay” passed away May 4, 2022. She was born Dec. 26, 1931 in Valedon, NM to Lorenzo and Ruth (Berumen) Avalos both precede her in death. She is survived by her siblings Margaret Avalos, Chuck (Irene) Godinez, and Lenore Butcher; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews a host of friends and neighbors, who will miss her dearly. Funeral Mass 10a.m. Monday May 9, 2022, St. Francis Xavier Church. Internment Roselawn Cemetery.
