Joshua Ray Trujillo

Joshua Ray Trujillo, 38. Passed away February 20, 2026. Born on November 13, 1987 to Ramon Peralta and Elizbeth Trujillo-Mares.

He is preceded in death by his grandfather Jose Martinez; grandmothers Rebecca Peralta, and Bertha Trujillo; best friends Jesse Gutierrez, Ryan Carillo and Roman Aragon.

He leaves behind his loving wife Monica Perez, parents Ramon Peralta (Corinne), Elizabeth Trujillo-Mares (Leonardo), grandparents Joseph Trujillo (Mary), and Priscilla Martinez. Siblings Charis Quintana (Charmaine) and Russell Lopez Jr (Briauna),nephew Jaidon, nieces Mya, Teyah, and special niece Leah, and great nephews Zarien, Aryas, and Antonio. Step-children Aydrien (Genesis) Lerma Perez, Natalia Baca (Manny), step grandchild Araselli, and beloved dog Nova. In-laws Ubaldo (Ana) Perez, Guadalupe Salinas, Ubaldo A. Perez and Jasmin Perez (David). As well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends that loved him dearly.

He enjoyed camping, fishing, listening to music. He also enjoyed to gamble, football season watching the one and only Denver Broncos, and taking car rides to clear the mind. He took joy in sharing his incredible knowledge and mind with those who would listen,

Josh had a bright and contagious smile that was so genuine, and a heart full of love and loyalty. It was evident if he shared love for you, as he would do anything in his power to make you feel it and he would take care of those he loved most. He believed deeply in the power of words, he continually applied himself to his aspirations and his future. He was a magnetic socialite, he ensured every room he entered was filled with energy and laughter, making every gathering unforgettable.

Celebrating a life filled with laughter, loyalty, and love, he will forever be remembered.

At Josh's request cremation has taken place. Rosary, and Celebration of Life Friday, March 13, 2026 at 1:00pm at Angelus Chapel.
