Joyce L.L. Serna

Joyce L.L. Serna, 62, passed away April 6, 2025. She was born in New Mexico on February 8, 1963 to parents, Vincent and Mary Lily (Candelario) Serna Sr. Preceded in death by her mother along with her siblings, Floyd Serna, Brenda Serna, Joe Serna and Wendy Gonzales.

Joyce had the biggest smile.  She was a fashionista, always making sure her hair was done, and she was looking good. Pink was her favorite color.  She loved food, spaghetti was her favorite and her puppies, Oreo and Cinnamon were her constant companions. Stitch the character was also one of her favorites. She enjoyed drinking Tuaca. Joyce was a fighter. Most of all she enjoyed being with her family and friends, having a good time, sharing stories and laughter.

Joyce is survived by her father, Vincent (Jeanne) Serna Sr.; her children, Christopher and Christina; her siblings, Vincent (Victoria) Serna Jr., Melissa Serna, and Elena (Sam) Encinias ; her godmother, Christina Gallegos; her significant other, Duane Lopez; her friends, Anita Orteaga and Kathy Mestas; her neighbors, Kim and Bennie; her cousins, Mary DeHerrera, Patsy Blea, Joann Blea and Connie Blea; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who love Joyce and will miss her dearly.

Funeral Service, 10 am, Sat., May 3, 2025 at The Angelus Chapel.
