Juanita Alice Custodio, age 83, passed away on July 15, 2025. Born on October 6, 1941, in New Jersey, Juanita spent her later years in Pueblo, Colorado, where she left a trail of love, laughter, and unforgettable memories.
A true free spirit with an adventurous heart, Juanita found joy in the open road, proudly riding with the Brothers of Soul motorcycle group. She cherished nature and often found peace camping beneath the stars. Her mind was equally vibrant-she adored reading, anime, and crocheting, always crafting something beautiful with her hands or imagination. Her love for capuchin baby monkeys reflected her gentle, playful nature and deep appreciation for all living things.
Juanita is survived by her devoted daughter, Julianna Custodio; beloved sister, Andrea Apostle-Mitchell; and granddaughter and caretaker, Marie Custodio. Her legacy continues through 10 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; and 13 great-great-grandchildren, each carry a piece of her spirit forward.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Stanley Sprinkle; daughters, Antonia Custodio and Francie Custodio; her parents, Ruth Terry and Andrew Apostle; and cherished grandson, Mack Glover.
Juanita’s life was rich with stories, strength, and soul. She lived boldly, loved deeply, and will be remembered for her fierce independence, radiant smile, and the boundless love she gave to all who knew her.
At her request cremation, no formal services.
