Judy Romero

Judy Romero was a caring mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, nurse, and friend. She passed away on April 4, 2022 after a long struggle with cancer. She was surrounded by her loving family.

Judy loved gardening, baking, and crafting, and most of all, spending time with her family. She was known for her vibrant personality, generosity, and heart of gold. Her family members, friends, and patients will agree that Judy made a positive impact on everyone she encountered.

Judy is survived by daughter Kimmie Morita, grandsons Josh Romero and Jayden Howe, great-granddaughter Kahlia, and soon to be great-grandson Baby Romero, sisters Ellie Marquez, Dorothy Lujan, Martin Romero, Larry Romero (Lisa), sister in law Vicki Romero, Ex-husband Joe Romero, and special friend Kim Swope, and nieces and nephews. She is proceeded in death by her parents Manuel and Cesarita Romero, son Joseph “Joey” Romero, son-in-law Mark Morita, sister Linda Almaraz, and brother-in-law Roy Lujan.

Memorial services will be held for Judy and her son Joey on Saturday April 23, 2022 10 a.m. at New Beginnings Church (631 W. Corona Ave. Pueblo, CO 81004) Dinner 12 p.m. GI Forum (125 Hector Garcia PL)
