Karen Louise (Finn) Avila

Karen Louise Finn Avila, 71, passed away February 3, 2026.  She was born May 2, 1954 to Barney and Irene (Mascarenas) Finn.  Both precede her in death along with her siblings, Lillian Marquez, Vera (Benny) Razo, Gilbert Finn, Michael Finn; in-laws, Orlando and Susana Avila; aunt Patsy Mascarenas ; grandparents, Antonio and Hazel Finn, Joseph and Manuela Mascarenas.

Karen was raised in Boone, CO.  She worked as a home health care provider.  She married the love of her life Carlos Avila.  They shared 50 years together, traveling the world, visiting family and friends when she could.  Otherwise, she was a homebody.  Watching her favorite show “Caught Abroad”.  She could tell you everything about it.

Karen is survived by her husband, Carlos M. Avila; her children, Denise Avila, Susana Avila, and Carlos J. Avila; brother Gerald (Ester) Finn; grandchildren, Andrew (Josette) Martinez, Zoie Martinez, Xavier Avila, Abby Avila, Jay-me Avila; great-grandson, Isaiah Guerrero and numerous other relatives and friends.
