Katherine "Cathy" Julia Morgan

Katherine “Cathy” J. Morgan, 70, passed away on January 9, 2026. A lifetime Puebloan, she was born on August 3, 1955, to proud parents Jose Ramirez and Delores Lovato. Both preceded her in death, along with her in-laws, Ernestin “Jiggs” and Katherine “Kate” Morgan.

Cathy retired from District 60 with more than twenty years of service. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, who were her world, and also enjoyed taking trips to Cripple Creek.

Cathy is survived by her husband, Freeman Morgan; sons Tracey “Cocoa” Morgan and Freeman Morgan (Jennifer); daughters Tanisha Morgan and Shante Morgan; grandchildren Daryion, Xzaveus, Xzontae, Xzayvion, Brooklyn, Cyan, and Janiya; as well as several in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. At Cathy’s request, there will be a cremation with no formal services.
