His hobbies, in his younger years, included going to watch the races with this family and going skating. He was very good with electronics and was a television engineer. He worked in the mass communication department at Colorado State University Pueblo. He worked with a lot of students and made lifelong friends. He loved Jazz music and golfing with his buddies. Making a day of it, having breakfast at the Pantry, one of his favorite places, then hitting the tee with the guys.
Lawrence was truly family oriented. He loved full heartedly. Never had an ill bone in his body and treated everyone with respect. He enjoyed sharing his life stories, lessons, words of wisdom and love with his family, especially his wife Carolyn who was his Queen.
