Lee Millhollin Jr. Obituary

Lee Henry Millhollin Jr. went to meet his Heavenly Family on 26 December 2020.  Lee was born on 3 Aug 1941 to Lee Millhollin Sr. and Josephine Bolin in Canon City, Colorado.  Lee lived in Canon City then Idaho, California, New Jersey and back to Canon City. Living the last 20 years in Coal Creek, Colorado. 

 

Lee married Nancy Coon and had two children Lorna and Steven. He later married Marion Taylor and adopted her children Stephanie and Matthew.  Lee was also married to Ida Riddle.

 

Lee was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

 

Lee was a very hard worker in spite of an accident when he was 7 years old.  The accident left him paralyzed on his left side. He could always be found working.

 

Some of the jobs Lee worked were breaking horses, working in a printing plant, janitorial work, caring for emus, and as a custodian for his church.

 

Lee was proceeded in death by his father Lee, step-mother Evelyn Millhollin, step-father Willie J. Swift, and his brother William “Bill” Swift.

 

He leaves behind his mother Josephine Swift; sisters Patricia (Bill) Thomas, Eva (Ray) Miller, both of Idaho, Bessie (Robert) Lancaster ofCanon City; brothers Jack (Lola) Millhollin of New Mexico, Willie F. (Charlene) Swift; and sister-in-law LeAnne Swift all of Rockvale, Colorado; and numerous nieces and nephews.

 

Lee will be missed by family and friends.

 

At his request cremation has taken place. Family memorial at a later date.
