Leonard Sanchez, 67, passed away on October 20, 2020, born on December 16, 1952. He is preceded in death by his parents: Jim and Delia Sanchez, In-Laws: Sam and Connie Guerrero, Sister and brother-in-law: John and Virginia Lefebre, Sister: Margaret Gonzalez, Niece: Janet Ornelas, Nephew: Shawn Naranjo, and Niece: Erica Oliver. Lenny is lovingly remembered by his wife of 44 years Gina, and his children Leonard, Jimmy (Monica) and Selina (Juan). Lenny will also be adoringly remembered by his four grandchildren, Alina (Jesus), Carlos, Jimmy and Santiago, by his Brothers: Manuel (Jackie), Leroy (Maria), Ernie (Carol) and Arthur; Brother and Sister-in-Laws: Rose, Phyllis (Morton), Samuel (Gloria), Debbie (Bill), Juanita, and Valerie (Manuel); special friends Jerry Garcia and Ronnie Soto; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Lenny served in the U.S. Army for almost 3 years, and he was a proud veteran. He was employed at CSU-P for 20 years until his retirement. Lenny was a Seattle Seahawks fan, fisherman and mechanic. He enjoyed driving and working on his Cushman. Lenny had the best attitude and only focused on what he could do. He was friendly and willing to help anyone in need. Lenny was genuine, he had a quick wit, infectious smile, and contagious laugh. He loved his family. and cherished every memory he created with them. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
