Leonides Ramon Velasquez affectionately known as “Leo”, 39, passed away February 13, 2025. A lifetime Puebloan, he was born November 23, 1985 to proud parents, Robert C. and Brenda M. (Anglada) Velasquez.
He was a graduate of East High School, Class of 2004 and a disabled Marine Veteran. Leo was very loveable and happy, he had a great personality and sense of humor, a real jokester. Leo was always wanting to help anyone, especially his dad. He was a huge Superman fan. He loved his family especially his children, who were his life. Leo enjoyed listening to music, smoking and having a good time. He will be missed and loved by all who knew him.
Leonides is survived by his parents, Robert and Brenda Velasquez; his siblings, Rachel (William) Stines, David (Emily) Velasquez, Sonya (Joseph) Cole and Michael Velasquez; mother of his children, Julz Velasquez; children, Victoria Evelyn Ann, Stephanie Leona Marie, Olivia Lucinda Denise, Natalie Jay Dawn, and Eric Joseph David Velasquez; and his girlfriend, Patrice Morris and her children Adrian Cortez and Phoenix Morris; grandma, Gloria Anglada; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Leo joins his grandparents, Clovis and Lucinda Velasquez, and Vito and Evelyn Anglada in the pearly gates of heaven.
