Leta J. Sanchez

The sun has set on Mom’s earthly journey.  On Sunday, January 2nd, 2022, Leta J. Sanchez spread her wings and soared home peacefully in the night.  She was mother, grandmother, sister, cousin, and Auntie to a large family.  She worked tirelessly to raise 5 children, after raising her own three siblings.  She had a passion for Arts and Crafts and loved the mountains of Colorado.  She persevered under extreme life challenges, many of which brought much suffering to her door, yet, in her tenacity and strength, she managed to rally each time life threw her a curve ball.  She never gave up on life, right to her very last breath. Leta is preceded in death by daughter, Kathy Sanchez, and son, Paul Sanchez. Leta is survived by her 3 remaining children, Ralph Sanchez Jr., Carol Sanchez, and Robert Sanchez, grandchild, Andrew Sanchez, her sister, Rhoda Aragon, brother, Benny Gutierrez, and partner, Thomas Herndon.
