Lillian Barbara Marquez, 72, passed away Jan. 6, 2021 with her family at her side. She was born December 9th, 1948 in Rocky Ford, CO. to Barney and Irene (Mascarenes) Finn. Her father precedes her in death along with her son, Stephen J. Marquez, brothers, Gilbert and Michael Finn and aunt, Patsy Mascarenes. She graduated from County High School Class of 1966. A resident of Boone, Colorado for 50 + years. She retired from Mission foods with 26 years of service. Lillian was a devout Catholic, praying her rosary daily and attending her parrish Sacred Heart of Avondale. She had a kind loving soul, a caretaker to anyone in need, putting herself always last. Lillian enjoyed watching the Rockies games with her husband, her grandchildren were her everything and her Sunday dinners were the best. Lillian is survived by her husband of 52 years Franklin Marquez, her mother, Irene Finn; children, Celisa Romero and Jason (Pamela) Marquez; siblings, Vera (Benny) Razo, Karen (Carlos) Avila and Gerald (Esther) Finn; 6 grandchildren, Alyssa, Athena, Andrea, JayJay, Stevie and Matthew; 5 great-grandchildren, Isabella, Serenity, Gerald, Sergio and Melody; godchildren, Frankie Razo, Susana Avila and Paul Abeyta; in-laws, Chris, William (Sara) and Johnny (Horentcia) Marquez, Mary Montoya, Helen Martinez, Josie Garcia, Sylvia Higueria and Louise Valdez; several nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends that loved Lillian and will miss her. Funeral Mass 10 a.m Thursday January 14, 2021 at Sacred Heart Church, Avondale, CO. Internment St. Vrain Cemetery.
