Lillie Mae Frank, age 88, passed peacefully on April 5, 2026. She was born on August 14, 1937, and lived the majority of her life in Fort Smith, Arkansas, where she built a life centered on family, love, and quiet strength.
Lillie Mae was a woman who found joy in life’s simple and meaningful blessings. She loved gardening and took great pride in growing flowers and vegetables, generously sharing her harvest and ensuring that everyone around her was well fed. Her grandchildren and great grandchildren especially remember how she made certain they were nourished with what she grew. She also had a deep love for photography and treasured capturing and preserving memories of family and special moments.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Lillie B. Johnson; her sister, Ardell Williams; her son, Delrick; her granddaughter, Brannica; and her nephew, Gus.
She leaves behind her loving daughter, LaTanya Yarbrough; her grandchildren, Antonio, Kimberly, CaLondra, Mariah, and Donovan; and her nephews and nieces, John, Arthur, Jean, Marshall, Regina, and Coretta, along with a host of great-grandchildren and extended family.
The family extends heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Life Care Center Nursing Home for the care, compassion, and kindness shown to Lillie Mae during her final days.
