Linda Lester

Linda Lester, 84, passed away on May 7, 2026.  Born February 13, 1942 to Larry and Juanita Grimm in Winfield, Kansas, who precede her in death.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Shellie Lester; son, Lawrence “Larry” M. Lester; grandchildren, Daniel Teixeira, Tyler (Magen Murray) Teixeira; son-in-law, Daniel J. Teixeira; great-grandchildren, Andres, Tyler Jr. and Aydan.

Linda enjoyed crafts, painting and cutting wood. She was the best florist and interior decorator.  She devoted all her love and time to her family, especially her son Larry. She was his caretaker, making sure he had everything he needed.  Linda could strike up a conversation with anyone.  You were only a stranger once.  She never judged anyone no matter the situation.  She was always there to support.  In her spare time, she loved to read, drink her coffee, collect antiques and share stories.  She regularly stated that the best time in her life was the 1950’s.

She will forever be loved and missed.
