Lisa Padilla Obituary

Lisa Jo Padilla, 59, passed away unexpectedly on May 27, 2026.  Born June 1, 1966 to Lee Marcus Padilla Jr and Mary Garcia Padilla in Pueblo, CO.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Mary Padilla; father, Lee Marcus Padilla and daughter, Natalie Padilla.

Left to cherish her memory are her son, David Lee (Kristen Pearce) Padilla; sisters, Linda (Dennis) Cunico, Pat (Elaine Lloyd) Padilla; brother Marcus (Pat) Padilla; aunt Lucy (Earl) Taylor; grandchildren, Liam, Logan, Lorenzo and Rosemary; along with numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Lisa's first passion was her love for her kids and grandkids! She was blessed with a beautiful singing voice that would make people stop to listen whenever she sang.  She loved her karaoke machine, filling the house with oldies tunes, like Marvin Gaye, Al Green, and of course Spanish songs. Lisa's beautiful smile could brighten any room, and her loud, joyous and genuine laughter would lift the spirits of everyone around her. She was a wonderful dancer, whether on the dance floor or the kitchen floor!  Her energy and love for music and dancing was a joy to see.

Creative and artistic, Lisa found happiness in drawing, arts & crafts, and sewing since she was a young child, expressing herself through her beautiful art. Reading was also a hobby she enjoyed her entire life, always eager to be inspired, to learn and explore many diverse subjects.  She was happy to share whatever she learned, too.  Her little flower garden patch kept her busy, along with many beloved pets that shared her life and have passed.

Little sister, we will miss you every day and will keep your memories alive for the rest of our lives.  Words cannot express the sorrow our family feels for losing our mother and sister, and gramma, but our love will never die.  We will miss Lisa deeply, remember her always and carry her love with us forever.  Rest in peace, sweet Lisa.

“I am the resurrection and the life; whoever believes in me, even if he dies, will live.” – John 11:25

May she rest in the peace of Christ, reunited with all our loved ones.

May God grant Lisa eternal rest and may perpetual light shine upon her.
