Lisbe Otero, 92, passed away April 3, 2025. She was born July 26, 1932 in Anton Chico, NM to Fidel and Aurelia (Sandoval) Cordova both precede her in death along with her sons, Ernie Otero and Paul Otero; and grandson, Joshua Otero; siblings, Remi Cordova, Nick Cordova, Fidel Cordova, and Aurelia Otero; special nephew, Louie Cordova.
Lisbe loved angels, butterflies, and perfumes. She was a great cook and bake. She never let anyone leave her house hungry. Her specialty was tamales, tortillas, sopapillas and green chili. She loved gardening and her rose bushes were pristine. Lisbe loved and cherished her family most. Her children and grandchildren were her world. She shared her faith, stories, wisdom, and love with each of them.
Lisbe is survived by her children, Betty (Rick) Garcia, Rudy (Gina) Otero, Robert (Diane) Otero, Mary Lou “Tiny” (Sam) Hernandez, and Daniel (Evelyn) Otero; consentido, Emilio Hernandez; numerous grandchildren to include Rochelle Garcia and Mateo Otero, many great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and relatives that will miss her dearly.
Mass of Christian Burial 2p.m. Thursday April 10, 2025 at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Interment, Roselawn Cemetery.
